Trailer Bridge Recognized by SC Johnson for Sales and Customer Service Excellence

Jacksonville, FL -- Trailer Bridge, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRBR) today announced that the Company received SC Johnson's "Outstanding Customer Service" award for 2002 and that Liz Nobles, Division Sales Manager - Midwest, was selected as SC Johnson's carrier "Salesperson Of The Year" for 2002.

Trailer Bridge was recognized at its annual business review with SC Johnson, which took place at Trailer Bridge's corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. This is the third year in a row that Trailer Bridge has received SC Johnson's "Outstanding Customer Service" award. The Company was honored for maintaining the high levels of customer service as required in SC Johnson's carrier partnership program. Ms. Nobles received her award for participation in bi-monthly reviews, quick responsiveness to requests for assistance, outstanding performance in keeping SC Johnson appraised of changes, and for her suggestions for process improvement.

SC Johnson's Ms. Katie Scheller, U.S. Import/Export Services & Compliance Manager, and Milt Morris, Director of U.S. Transportation, were on hand to present both awards to the Company. Jennifer Harvey, Manager, Customer Service, accepted the award on behalf of all Trailer Bridge employees stating, "We are grateful and honored to receive this award from SC Johnson. It is wonderful to be recognized by SC Johnson for the quality service that we provide to them. The entire Trailer Bridge team can be proud of this achievement."

In accepting the Carrier Salesperson of the Year Award, Ms. Nobles stated, "It is truly a pleasure to do business with the SC Johnson Family of Companies. I'm thrilled that they feel I deserve this award. Working with quality people such as Katie, Milt and their departments allows us to meet our mutual goals in a timely and efficient manner." According to SC Johnson, Ms. Nobles was selected from amongst salespersons representing all their worldwide carriers.

Trailer Bridge has been the primary transportation provider for SC Johnson products between the U.S. mainland and Puerto Rico since 1993.
