Domestic - Application of Rates Item 160 - Effective August 1, 2022

A. Rates named in this Tariff apply between ports and in the United States, Canada, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Tortola BVI, Argentina, St Martin FWI, Anguilla, Antigua, Saba, St. Barthelemy, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts and Puerto Rico.

B. Except as otherwise provided, rates named in this Tariff include all Handling (Arrimo) Charges.

C. Except as otherwise provided, rates will only apply on a shipment when:

1. The shipment is loaded wholly within one Trailer.
2. Shipment is received loaded at origin Port from Shipper or his agent.
3. Shipment is unloaded at destination from Trailer by Consignee or his agent.

D. When more than one rate is published from one port or point of origin in the individual rate item to the same port or point of destination for the same commodity, the applicable rate will be the one that produces the lowest cost to the Bill-To.

E. Carrier offers service in 40’ and 53’ Trailers/Containers.

F. Where Rate Basis in individual rate items is “PC”, rate applies in a dry Trailer/Container for the size shown.

G. Except as otherwise provided, Carrier does not offer “Protect from Freezing Service” and will not accept a Bill of Lading so claused.

H. When the carrier arranges or coordinates door pickup or delivery of cargo services, it will be based on shipper live load and count; block, brace and seal; consignee live unload as per rules 6 & 2.016, with 2 hour free time allowance and subject to additional charges as per rule 21.001, except as otherwise stated.
