Hurricane Dorian Saturday Update

Hurricane Dorian Saturday Update
31 Aug 2019

Trailer Bridge is actively working to ensure the safety of our Trailer Bridge family, customers and business partners, while minimizing effects on service as the very dangerous Hurricane Dorian tracks toward Florida and the Carolinas.

Based on current weather conditions, the Brooklyn Bridge destined for San Juan and scheduled to sail yesterday will remain in port in Jacksonville until a window of safety has been determined and port operations are cleared by the US Coast Guard. The safety of our crew, equipment and cargo remain the utmost priority to us. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Other voyages are on schedule, but remain dependent upon weather conditions:

  • San Juan Jax Bridge (Voyage #10458/20458) is scheduled to arrive in Jacksonville on 9/6 at 0900
  • Jax San Juan (Voyage #10459) is scheduled to arrive in San Juan on 9/4 at 0300
  • Chicago Bridge (Voyage #30458) is scheduled to arrive in Puerto Plata on 9/1 at 0630

At this time, we expect to conduct normal business operations on Tuesday, 9/3 at each of our Trailer Bridge offices.

We will continue to watch the projected path of the storm and factor in guidance from the National Hurricane Center, the US Coast Guard and JaxPort to provide timely updates as more information becomes available.
