Key Responsibilities
  • Finding, qualifying, and securing new customer and carrier partnerships
  • Utilizing daily communication to build lasting relationships with our customer and carrier partners
  • Grasping key concepts of our freight brokerage division and approach to personal customer service
  • Keeping up to date on the freight market and seasonal trends and applying that knowledge accordingly
  • Negotiating rates and booking shipments with carriers through daily phone calls
  • Tracking and tracing shipments by communicating with carriers from pickup to delivery
  • Ensuring that carriers meet all specifications necessary to move our customers’ freight
  • Identifying and applying effective solutions to new and current customer supply chain needs
  • Developing customer accounts by providing the highest level of customer service
  • No professional experience required
  • Rockstar go-getter attitude required; experience preferred, but not required
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, competitive team-player with a huge desire to WIN
  • Communication skills that are effective, persuasive, and convincing
  • Quick thinker and problem solver who makes sound and efficient decisions
