Update onCOVID-19.

As a transportation provider that thousands of companies count on for their shipping needs throughout North America andthe Caribbean, Trailer Bridge is closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on our customers and our personnel. We have enacted our Pandemic Business Continuity plan, which includes ensuring the safety and welfare of all personnel and all contracted providers.

All Trailer Bridge offices are open and will remain open with limited staff. Please rest assured that your contact, if not in the office, is working from another location, whether home or one of our several offices, and remainsaccessible to you.

Trailer Bridge has immediately implemented a no-visitor policy at all locations until further notice, while also limiting air travel until April 30th. We are asking our sales personnel to limit in-person interaction to essential meetings and encouraging other tools for communication, video calls (Zoom), phone, text, and emails.

Shipments to Puerto Rico.

Trailer Bridge will continue to sail from Jacksonville, FL every Wednesday and Friday, with arrivals in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Tuesday and Thursday. The recent Executive Order from the Governor of Puerto Rico, does not impact our port personnel in Puerto Rico, as we will continue to fully operate and provide your essential goods, as needed. The Executive Order institutes a two-week closure for several businesses on the island, and a 9 p.m. overnight curfew through March 30th.

Only essential services and certain exempt businesses will be operational on the island during this time, such as supermarkets, restaurants offering carryout or delivery, pharmacies, medical equipment stores, gas stations and banks, along with suppliers to those businesses.

With this limitation of services offered on the island, we want to ensure we provide those clients with priority shipping and use of our equipment for the welfare of the citizens of Puerto Rico. We thank you in advance for working with us as we monitor these shipments closely.

Other North American Shipments.

Work and travel restrictions may affect shipments to and from heavily impacted areas, as well as shipments moving within those areas. Our North American logistics network of 12 offices will continue to minimize service interruptions and continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Our drivers are still fully operational and scheduled to pick-up shipments, as planned. Should you have any questions about your shipment please do not hesitate to reach out to your account manager, as we continue to actively reach out to all of our clients.

Trailer Bridge is experienced in facing challenging situations that require us to implement plans that maintain our operations, while limiting the impacts to others, includingyou, our customer. We remain prepared to serve your supply chain needs and we will continue to operate in all areas, as local conditions and restrictions allow.
