Tariff Item Change: Overweight and Hazardous Shipments

Due to increased operational costs associated with the handling of overweight shipments and/or hazardous cargo shipments, Trailer bridge, Inc. is implementing the following changes to Puerto Rico Tariff and Dominican Republic Tariff items for these shipment types.

Overweight Shipments

Trailer Bridge PR Tariff Item #675 and DR Tariff Rule 002-012, regarding overweight shipments, has been changed from $80 per state transited to a charge of $125 per state transited when inland transportation service is provided to/from FL, GA and SC. This change is effective as of January 1, 2016 for PR Tariff and effective January 15, 2016 for DR Tariff.

Hazardous Cargo

Trailer Bridge PR Tariff Item #540 and DR Tariff Rule 016, regarding hazardous shipments has been changed from $100 per container to a charge of $150 per container. This change is effective as of January 1, 2016 for PR Tariff and effective January 15, 2016 for DR Tariff.
