TRBR 200-A Item 522: Goods Other than Emergency Equipment - Effective March 11, 2022

Carrier will accept Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) loaded with goods inside the vehicle other than Emergency Equipment and Safety Equipment (see definition of terms). Goods listed as prohibited, hazardous, and/or firearms/ammunition will not be accepted as well as any Items prohibited under Item 572. Goods must be properly and safely blocked, braced, and secured for ocean transport. Carrier reserves the right to reject a POV if deemed unable to ship safely due to improper blocking, bracing, and/or securing of the unit and Goods loaded inside. Shipment of a POV that is loaded with a unit that has a VIN must be upright and with the VIN easily accessible for verification by Carrier and/or regulatory agency as needed. Goods must be properly manifested including full VIN and description by the Shipper/Owner on the Bill of Lading and/or Dock Receipt. Shipper/Owner goods are transported at their own risk for loss or damage of the goods. Claims will not be accepted for goods. Item 572 for Insurance does not apply to goods shipped inside the POV.

Goods Loaded in POV: $300 per Loaded POV

Goods not in trailer (excluding shipper/owned leased units) containing additional articles, not part of the vehicle, in or on said vehicle(s), must be properly manifested by the Shipper/Owner on the Bill of Lading and/or Dock Receipt. The additional articles will move at the Shipper/Owners risk for loss or damage of the goods. Boats on trailers loaded with additional articles will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Claims will not be accepted for goods and insurance Item 572 does not apply. Additional articles will be charged as follows:

Sealed Enclosed Trailers or Truck Cabs$300 per Loaded Trailer/Cab
Non-Enclosed Trailers Loaded with Loose Articles not to Exceed the Dimensions of that Trailer$300 per Loaded Trailer/Cab
Privately Owned Vehicles, Machinery, Equipment, and/or Recreational Vehicles Loaded as Additional Cargo on Another Unit$300 per Item Loaded on a Single Unit
