Chassis Usage Program effective 11/1/13

Chassis Usage Program effective 11/1/13
27 Sep 2013

Effective 11/01/13 Trailer Bridge will be implementing a new chassis usage program designed to improve equipment turn times and equipment availability while increasing overall productivity.

For pickups or deliveries made in Carrier’s equipment, the customer is required to supply their own chassis from a leasing company, chassis pool, or trucker. The customer is also responsible for any ancillary charges imposed by rail ramp associated with not having chassis available, such as lifting charges, detention charges, etc.

Chassis will not be available for Carrier Owned or Leased Equipment when load moves on a ramp rate where the rail ramp is located in any of the following states:

Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming

This program does not apply to the use of Third Party Equipment not directly leased to Carrier.

Thank you for your continued support, and should you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact your Trailer Bridge Sales or Customer Service Representative.
