Payments may be made at the port office by cashier’s check, money order, American Express, MasterCard or Visa debit or credit card. Cash, personal or company checks are NOT accepted at either location.

Conditional Charges: Charges are assessed only when these conditions exist. All fees are due without prior notice and payment is required prior to vehicle release.

USDA Debris Removal:Any vehicle determined by US Department of Agriculture inspection to require debris removal to remove foreign soil will be charged $90.00 (Charge includes wash and admin fee.)

Storage at Port

– All vehicles are allowed 7 free days at the destination port. Free days include holidays and weekend.

– Free time starts at 0800 the morning after complete discharge of the vessel.

– Upon expiration of free time please see below for demurrage rates

– Storage charges must be paid prior to the release of the vehicle. We accept Visa, MasterCard,American Express, Cashier Checks or Money Orders.

TWIC Escort (JAXPORT Only):TWIC credentials are required for all public access to the Port of Jacksonville facilities. These charges ($75 per hour and up) are assessed by JAXPORT directly.

Third Party Vehicle Release:You may make arrangements to contract an approved third party company to deliver or retrieve your vehicle from the terminal on your behalf. All fees charged by the party you have contracted to provide this service are payable directly to the contracted party.

Extra Cargo:Carrier will accept Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) loaded with goods inside the vehicle other than Emergency Equipment and Safety Equipment (see definition of terms). Goods listed as prohibited, hazardous, and/or firearms/ammunition will not be accepted as well as any Items prohibited under Item 572. Goods must be properly and safely blocked, braced, and secured for ocean transport. Carrier reserves the right to reject a POV if deemed unable to ship safely due to improper blocking, bracing, and/or securing of the unit and Goods loaded inside. Shipment of a POV that is loaded with a unit that has a VIN must be upright and with the VIN easily accessible for verification by Carrier and/or regulatory agency as needed. Goods must be properly manifested including full VIN and description by the Shipper/Owner on the Bill of Lading and/or Dock Receipt. Shipper/Owner goods are transported at their own risk for loss or damage of the goods. Claims will not be accepted for goods. Item 572 for Insurance does not apply to goods shipped inside the POV. Trailer Bridge will not be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to items left within the vehicle.

Goods Loaded in POV: $300 per Loaded POV.

Vehicle Insurance: For vehicles in excess of 5 years, vehicle insurance is available for purchase. Rate is $1.12 per $100.00 of sound market value. Insurance must be paid prior to unit arrival at departing port.

Additional Vehicle Insurance: For vehicles less than 5 years old, additional vehicle insurance is available for purchase exceeding provided insurance coverage amounts. Rate is $1.12 per $100 of sound market value. Insurance must be paid for prior to unit arrival at departing port.
