Director of NVOCC Named In 2024 Pros to Know List
14 Mar 2024

Trailer Bridge’s Director of NVOCC and Compliance, Zach Monger, was recently named to the 2024 Pros to Know – Rising Stars list by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. This list recognizes professionals in logistics and supply chain whose accomplishments are creating forward momentum in the industry. The Rising Stars category specifically honors individuals earlier in their career who have already made a significant impact in the world of logistics.

Reflecting on his accomplishment, Zach said “Winning the Rising Star award is truly an honor. It validates my efforts to do my part in shaping the supply chain industry. It’s a powerful motivator to continue pushing boundaries and driving positive change as a young leader.”

As Trailer Bridge works to expand its offerings to serve today’s shipper, Zach has been instrumental in the growth of the company’s NVOCC division. In 2021, he joined the company as International Operations Manager. During this time, he helped form the Trailer Bridge International entity and secure the OTI licensing necessary to ship globally. In September 2022, Zach advanced to the role of Director of NVOCC and Compliance, with the mission to scale the division and increase Trailer Bridge’s presence in the international freight market.

In just over a year, his leadership and strategic direction has led to incredible accomplishments for the NVOCC team. From 2022-2023, revenue has nearly tripled and load count has more than doubled. Trailer Bridge International also expanded its footprint, shipping to more than 68 countries and obtaining licensing in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic in 2023.

But a leader is just as strong as their team, and Zach has excelled at forming a group of ambitious young professionals within the U.S. and Puerto Rico who bring Trailer Bridge’s service-first mission to customers around the world. He is also invested in his team’s growth, which is apparent from their success. To date, two of his team members have participated in Trailer Bridge’s Extreme Leadership Program and one received the 2023 President’s Award.

Zach’s belief in limitless potential is what fuels his success. Moving forward, he plans to continue growing Trailer Bridge’s NVOCC division. Welcoming more team members, expanding the company’s international partnership network, and creating additional service offerings are only part of what’s in store.
