Trailer Bridge Named One of the First Coast’s Healthiest Companies for Sixth Year
Trailer Bridge has been named a Gold Level Healthiest Company by the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC), marking the sixth year the company has received this honor. The award recognizes Trailer Bridge’s commitment to creating a workplace that prioritizes and supports employee well-being.
“Wellness looks different for everyone and we’re proud to create a space for our people to focus on what they need- physically, mentally and emotionally,” said Kacy Swanson, Vice President, Employee Services at Trailer Bridge. “Being honored with this award celebrates the small but meaningful ways we support each other, and to me, it reinforces that we’re on the right path.”
To qualify for this award, FCWWC evaluates companies across six key areas:
- Health Management Strategy & Design
- Leadership Alignment
- Communications
- Program Implementation & Promotion
- Best Workplace Wellness Initiatives
- Program Evaluation
In 2025, Trailer Bridge implemented a new wellness platform, Wellable, providing employees with a multidimensional experience that supports physical, mental, and environmental well-being through both web and mobile apps. The new tool supports connectivity for employees across Trailer Bridge’s global footprint, which has led to increased participation from locations outside of the company’s headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
The company also incorporates platforms like ClassPass and HealthJoy to enhance employee support. With ClassPass, employees receive 12 monthly credits to use on local wellness experiences, from fitness classes to spa services. HealthJoy centralizes employees’ health benefits and offers 24/7 access to mental health resources and licensed medical providers.
“Our culture is built on service and that starts with how we take care of our employees and invest in their overall success – which includes their wellness,” added Swanson. “Our commitment to developing a wellness program that supports today’s diverse workforce has not and will not waiver. An investment in our people – through training and development or wellness programs – is an investment in our long-term success.”
