Important Message from the Trailer Bridge Board of Directors

To our valued customers,

The Board of Directors is writing to share that Mitch Luciano has elected to step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 18, 2026. The Board has accepted his resignation. The Board has been in direct contact with Mitch and has expressed its appreciation for his many contributions and wishes him every success in his future endeavors.

While this is an unexpected change, we remain committed to Trailer Bridge. Terminal access at both ports is secured through 2041, the ten-year agreement with Ports America was signed in August, and we continue to invest in our assets. These are real investments in the business to ensure its long-term success. Our commitment remains to serving the people of Puerto Rico.

The Board is actively engaged in finalizing a forward plan, and will share more information as decisions are made.

In the interim, it is business as usual, with no change to daily operations, vessel sailings, or logistics activities. If you have questions, our team below is standing ready to support.
