Domestic and International MarineFuel Surcharge (MFS) - Effective October 01, 2026

As part of our broader pricing strategy and continued commitment to providing greater predictability for our customers, Trailer Bridge is updating how we manage fuel costs for our ocean transportation services.

Effective October 1, 2026, Trailer Bridge will transition from its current Vessel Fuel Surcharge (VFS) to a Marine Fuel Surcharge (MFS) of $766 for southbound freight.

The $766 Marine Fuel Surcharge will remain fixed through December 31, 2026.

This approach is designed to provide greater stability and predictability in transportation costs during a period of continued fuel market volatility. By establishing a consistent surcharge through the remainder of the year, Trailer Bridge is absorbing near term fluctuations in marine fuel costs rather than passing those changes directly to our customers.

The Marine Fuel Surcharge will be reevaluated at the start of 2027. Any anticipated changes will be communicated to customers in advance.

This change is part of our broader effort to align our pricing structure with current market conditions and the cost of providing reliable ocean service while maintaining a competitive overall rate structure for our customers.
