Our team continues to raise the bar, and this year was no exception. Below are some of the standout achievements from this year that showcase their leadership, dedication, and impact.
Tony Kvasnicka was named President of Trailer Bridge’s Ocean Division, bringing with him nearly eight years of service to the company and a decade of experience in the U.S. Coast Guard. He oversees the Puerto Rican trade lane, port operations, account management, and the continued growth of our Caribbean capabilities. Since taking on the role, the team has improved processes and found efficiencies for customers.
Kacy Swanson, Vice President of Employee Services, was named to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s Class of 2025 40 Under 40. Highlighted for Crafting Community, Kacy embodies collaboration and intentionality at Trailer Bridge and through her work with SHRM Jacksonville and community mentoring initiatives.
Vice President of Government & Projects Chris Goss and Vice President of Caribbean Jacob Wegrzyn were named 2025 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain by Food Logistics. Chris was recognized in the Top Transportation Professional category, while Jacob earned the Leaders in Excellence award for over a decade of distinguished service.
Mitch Luciano was named a Jacksonville Daily Record 2025 Trailblazer Award winner for his leadership in building a people-first culture at Trailer Bridge. This was the inaugural class of winners for this award.
Jason Trubenbach, Director of Trailer Bridge Europe, received the National Defense Transportation Association’s (NDTA) President’s Award for his outstanding leadership in unifying logistics across the U.S. Government, NATO, and industry. A 21-year NDTA member, he also established the first Europe/Africa Regional Committee, strengthening collaboration across airlift, sealift, surface transportation, and passenger travel.
Mitch Luciano participated in the first-ever all-male Partners in Progress panel at the Women in Supply Chain Forum, discussing how men and women can collaborate to advance women’s roles in the supply chain. He highlighted how Trailer Bridge supports this initiative through mentorship, inclusion, and fostering a culture of equity.
Serving Beyond the Supply Chain
Service has always been at the heart of Trailer Bridge. This year, we continued to deepen our impact and support the communities we’re proud to be part of.
Trailer Bridge’s Rally for Kate Charity Golf Tournament raised over $100,000 for the Kate Amato Foundation, supporting pediatric cancer research. Trailer Bridge covered all expenses so 100% of sponsorship dollars went directly to the cause. The event brought together Jacksonville’s transportation and logistics industry to rally behind this cause.
Trailer Bridge partnered with ATS International to host its fifth annual Rally por Puerto Rico Charity Golf Tournament. Over the past five years, the tournament has raised over half a million dollars for Habitat for Humanity of Puerto Rico. The event supports the organization’s efforts to create and preserve homeownership opportunities for low-income individuals and families on the island.
Students from Jacksonville Job Corps visited Trailer Bridge for a hands-on learning experience at our corporate office and port facility. Through tours, workshops, and classroom sessions, students explored careers in logistics while our team shared insights and real-world applications.
Trailer Bridge also partnered with Dreams Come True of Jacksonville to help ‘Make Dreams Happen’ for local children facing health challenges in a variety of ways. This year, we sponsored the Dreamer Tent at the Dreams Come True 5K, continuing eight years of support and creating unforgettable experiences for kids and their families. We also sponsored the Dreams Come True’s Trunk or Treat event as part of our ongoing commitment to the organization and its mission.
