Trailer Bridge Ranks #2 Best Place to Work in Northeast Florida
14 Nov 2023

Our team members have spoken, and Trailer Bridge was ranked #2 in the large company category for the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2023 Best Places to Work award! This is the 7th year that the company has earned this honor for its exceptional company culture.

The Best Places to Work award is unique because the results are not determined by a panel of judges, but by survey results from the company’s own employees. The survey asks participants questions that span multiple subjects – such as leadership, recognition, work environment, benefits and more – to help determine overall employee engagement and satisfaction.

The top word that showed up in questions related to Trailer Bridge’s work environment? Fun!

Here are a few of the employee responses from the 2023 Best Places to Work survey:

“Trailer Bridge has given me the opportunity to use good industry practices as well as common sense. My manager allows me to do my job without feeling micromanaged but is all 100% engaged so if I have any questions, he is available.”

“I love working at Trailer Bridge. It’s honestly the best job I’ve ever had. There is open and honest communication, we are treated with respect, and leadership listens to our suggestions and implements changes. Everyone here is willing to help each other above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen.”

“I have been beyond blessed to be part of Trailer Bridge and look forward to seeing the amount of growth and success we can achieve until the day I decide to retire. We are more than a great company to work for. We are a family.”

Earlier this year, Trailer Bridge was also named to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s Fast 50 list, which recognizes the fastest growing companies in Northeast Florida based on annual percentage growth over the past 3 years.

In an interview with the Jacksonville Business Journal, Trailer Bridge CEO Mitch Luciano credited Trailer Bridge’s culture as a key component of the company’s success.

“Company culture is not something that is built or maintained by a CEO or leadership team, it is an all-hands-on deck kind of project. I give our people all the credit here – they have fiercely protected our culture by living out our core values day-in and day-out, holding each other accountable and really showing up every day,” said Mitch.
